Morningstar Club Championship

The Club Championship at Morningstar is open to members only.  It is contested on one day over 18 holes.  The exception to this is the Championship Flight for Club Champion.  This flight plays on two consecutive days, 18 holes each day. 

 In past years the course was set up to play its toughest.  The rough was allowed to grow, and the greens were prepared to roll fast.  The pins were placed in areas where great forethought was required to prevent three putts.  Needless to say, the event caused higher than normal scores and great stress! 

The past few years the event has changed in that the course plays truer to how it plays on most days.  The greens may be faster, and the pins may be more demanding, but the stress factor is minimal  -  except for those nervous "chokers" who can't stand the competition.
