Practice Range

 

Morningstar has a large practice area which includes a grass tee area with 30 tee stations.   It is open every day during normal course hours until an hour before dark, and closes early on Monday for maintenance.  The range is deep enough to allow for driver shots, and has  targets for 100, 120, 150, 200, 250 and beyond.  A sand bunker and putting green allow short game practice. 

 

New range policy will be in effect as of June 22nd 2009.  The practice range will be open to golf members and their guests, range members, and lessons students only.  Of course players may hit a bag before they go out to play if they have a tee time and have paid for their round.  A seasonal range membership may be purchased for $300.00 which allows for unlimited balls all season.  Morningstar members will receive special pricing of $4.00 per bag.  Brand new range balls will start out the 2009 season.
