Two-player teams for this event.  18 holes are divided into 3 separate 6-hole rounds. On the first six holes, the 2 team players play their own ball and count the best score on each hole. On the middle six holes, those holes will be played alternate shot, and finally the last six holes are played as a scramble. This event, you get to choose your own partner! A private tournament exclusively for our members at Morningstar. This a free tournament and we highly encourage  all members to compete this day.  The course is setup to challenge each golfer on all parts of their game. Rough is long, greens are fast, and the pins are set to test your putting. There are multiple flights to accommodate different player abilities. (Championship Flight, First Flight, Senior Flight, Ladies Championship, etc.) Trophies are awarded to the winners. The Men and Women Champions’ name will be engraved on the Clubhouse Plaque.

This format is a typical scramble. The format is played by a team of three or four players where each member hits their ball throughout the match. The process continues until all 18 holes are completed.  The twist is each team is required to choose a tour player playing in the  British Open before the round begins. That PGA Tour player’s score is then added to your team’s score. Winnings go towards the Merchandise Money List.  Teams will be made by the Pro.
